By joshua YAGBA LEADERS DECLARE UNITY, PLEDGE MASSIVE VOTES FOR TINUBU AS KARIMI RALLIES KOGI WEST FOR 2027

Political leaders from Yagba Federal Constituency on Sunday put aside past differences and presented a united front, declaring that “there is no division, no rice and beans politics” in Yagba as they pledged total support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Sunday Steve Karimi ahead of 2027.
The declaration was made at the Yagba Federal Constituency Town Hall Meeting held at GYB Hall, Isanlu, under the theme “Continuity for Sustainable Development in Kogi West Senatorial District.”
The event drew council chairmen, lawmakers, former lawmakers, traditional rulers, youth groups, women associations and persons with disabilities from across Yagba and beyond.
Speaking on behalf of the Council Chairmen, Ademola Destiny, said leaders in Yagba, Mopamuro and other LGAs have resolved to work together as one team.
“We have put our differences behind us. We have no division. There is no rice and beans. politics in Yagba. We are working together for the good of our people,” he said.
Senator Sunday Steve Karimi, who was the center of attraction, assured that Kogi West will deliver 700,000 votes for President Tinubu in 2027, describing the President as “so much loved by the people” following the impact of his policies on their lives.
The Senator listed several achievements of the Tinubu administration in fixing the economy and infrastructure, saying they were already having positive effects on ordinary Nigerians and were the basis for his prediction.
Senator Karimi also expressed optimism of a clean sweep for the APC in the coming Senatorial District election. He attributed the confidence to the impact he has made in every town, community and Local Government that make up Kogi West.
“I am loved by my people, and I will continue to serve them purposefully in the Senate,” he assured.
The Town Hall Meeting, which brought together political stakeholders across Kogi West, ended with renewed calls for unity within the All Progressives Congress, APC, and a collective commitment to sustain development in the district.
With the show of unity in Yagba and the massive turnout in Isanlu, stakeholders said the message was clear: Kogi West is mobilizing early for continuity, with President Tinubu and Senator Karimi leading the charge.
