By joshua CONDOLENCE MESSAGE ON THE PASSING OF ALHAJI IBRAHIM IDRIS, FORMER EXECUTIVE GOVERNOR OF KOGI STATE
On behalf of the Udama Kpai Unyogba Idah Development Association, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the family of Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, former Executive Governor of Kogi State, who passed away today in the United Kingdom.
Alhaji Ibrahim Idris was a great leader, a distinguished statesman, and an illustrious son of Idah and Omala within the wider Igala Nation. His contributions to the development of Kogi State and the advancement of our people will remain indelible.
As Governor, he provided leadership with a strong sense of responsibility, humility and the fear of God, while striving to promote equity, fairness and equality among the people. His years of service reflected his commitment to the unity, peace and development of Kogi State and its people.
His passing is a profound loss to his immediate family, the people of Idah and Omala, the wider Igala Nation, and Kogi State as a whole. At this difficult moment, we stand in solidarity with his family, friends, associates and all those who mourn the passing of this great son of our land.
We pray that Almighty Allah forgives his shortcomings, grants him Aljannah Firdaus, and gives his family and loved ones the strength and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
May the soul of Alhaji Ibrahim Idris rest in perfect peace.
