
Edo NLC Commiserates With Deputy Governor, Idahosa, Over Mother’s Death At 95

The Edo State Council of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), has
condoled with the state Deputy Governor Dennis Idahosa, over the loss of his dear mother, Madam Esther Imaguomwanruo Idahosa, (neé Enabulele) who died at the age of 95.
In a statement issued by Comrade Monday Lewis Igbafen Chairman,
Caretaker Committee, Edo State NLC , expressed sorrow at the demise of Madam Idahosa, describing the late matriarch as a woman of remarkable virtue, whose life was defined by service, resilience, and unwavering commitment to family and community.

The Edo State Council of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) received with deep sorrow the news of the passing of your beloved mother, Mama Esther Imaguomwanruo Idahosa, on Wednesday, April 8, 2026.
At 95 years, Mama lived a long and impactful life, leaving behind a legacy of love, wisdom, and service that will continue to inspire us, her family and the entire community.
We recognize that her passing has created a profound void, one that words can hardly fill. On behalf of all comrades and workers in Edo State, we extend our deepest and most sincere condolences to you, the Idahosa family and the entire Idahosa dynasty.
May you find strength in the sweet memories of Mama you share, and may the Almighty grant Mama eternal rest. Please be assured of our solidarity and support during this difficult time.
