Nigeria/Russia Parliamentary Group Chairman and Lokoja/Kogi Rep member, Hon. Shaba Ibrahim has declared that judging from the mood of the constituents and the organic support the PDP is getting daily, the PDP remains “the most popular political party in Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency of Kogi State”.
While receiving decampees into the party at the Chikara south ward of Kogi LGA of Kogi State on Saturday, the lawmaker declared that in as much as the forthcoming 2023 general election is concerned, the PDP has no opposition in the constituency as the party remains the most popular.
He assured the new decampees who were over 200 in number, that they are highly welcome into the PDP, which is the “peoples’ party, a party that truly belongs to all Nigerians, a party where all the members matter; regardless of their class or status in the society”.
He assured the constituents of more dividends of democracy, more empowerments, more employment opportunities and more development projects, as he remains committed to his campaign promises and his zeal to transform Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency for good.
