Hon. Aboh Charges HODs To Redouble Efforts For Maximum Results


 

Executive Chairman of Omala Local Government, Hon. (Alh) Ibrahim Yakubu Aboh has appealed to Heads of Department (HODs) of various departments to up their games to bring about all round development.

Alhaji Aboh made the call when he received the HODs in his office at the local government Secretariat, Abejukolo.

The delegation was led by Director of Local Government (DLG) Elder Joseph Omale to congratulate him on his victory and assumption of office as Executive Chairman of Omala Local Government.

According to the council boss, “the need for synergy between the political class and even between departments can not be overemphasise. Hence, the pertinent need for us to collaborate and work in harmony for optimum results”.

“I appreciate you for this visit. Please be on your guard, take the task of your respective departments seriously, carry your members of staff along, give them sense of belonging and encourage them to be patriotic. I’ve equally put my supervisors and other aids in place, they are also mandated to collaborate with your various departments. You have unfettered access to me and my office any time”, he said.

The DLG, in his remarks extolled the adminstrative tenacity of the Chairman, describing him as a good match for the office, based on his track records and experience over time.

He declared the HODs readiness to work with the Chairman and other structure in the council for speedy development.

Present in the meeting include the Vice Chairman, Hon. Mrs Ele-Ojo Faruna, the Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Joy Odaudu, Chief of Staff to the Chairman, Comrade Husseini Isah, PA to the Chairman (Political), Comrade Godwin Adaji.

Roll call of the HODs are:

1. Mr. Abuh E. Nathaniel (Education)
2. Mr. Adetiba Walid (BPRS)
3. Mr. Kazaka Stephen (Health)
4. Mrs. Jumai Omeji (Works)
5. Mr. James Nathaniel (Agric)

Other principal officers of the local government present are the Cashier of the Local Government, Mrs Achenetu Momoh, Treasurer, Mr. Oruma Mudi A. and Ocholi Mathew, Deputy Director-Admin (DDA).
