2023: CHIEF AHMED ATTAH BUILDING PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN TEAM FOR GOVERNOR YAHAYA BELLO.

By: David Alfred-Dogwo / January 6th, 2021

PICTURE: (Today, after a close door meeting with the Acting Kogi East Zonal Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Kogi state Chief Ahmed Attah).

Chief Ahmed Attah who doubles as captain of the ship urging Governor Yahaya Bello to vie for the position of President Federal Republic of Nigeria in the 2023 Presidential election had invited me for lunch and in a close door meeting, offered me the herculen task to set up Governor Yahaya Bello 2023 Presidential Campaing’s Media Team.

You will recall that when the song started from the east to central and to the western regions of Kogi state respectively, some thought it was a gloves in a kids show. But today, the voice coming from across the entire country shows that the north-central Nigeria, may enjoy the zoning and within the six (6) states of the zone, Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state may likely pinch the tent.

We have watched some initiating a secret media war against this mission, by radically expanding online drone strikes across the country. Waging an unprecedented campaign against the whistleblower using oppositions as a cudgel to silence this mission.

Instead of making out our position known to the public, some within Governor Bello administration fell silent. If you believe this project will not see the light of the day without you, you can probably ignore this post and go get ready to uncork some champagne.

Now is the time. Get ready for a hard-hitting journalism. We will reject the on-going negative framing. Governor Bello should never be held to low standards based on his actions. He need to be judged on his own policies and endeavors.

As the team bureau chief, I can tell you firsthand how much of the media and political establishment is ready to take a victory lap — and give Governor Bello a presidential honeymoon in 2023.

In our newsroom, we know that good journalism makes powerful enemies. That’s why we will spent time to expose the dystopian surveillance schemes and drone wars of our enemies.

We will no longer be on the lonely front lines of reporting. The Media Team will now do the needy. We will remind them that elections are not won by hatred.

We will hire more reporters, launch more investigations, and expand our national coverage. We will set an aggressive 2023 year-end presidential election goal for Governor Bello and will be proud of how consistent story reportage that the political and corporate elite don’t want told will turn out as door-step to receive them into our project in due course.

If you want to be part of this national project, join Chief Ahmed Attah and his crew. Click the ‘comment’ button, add your voice and we will reach out to you.

God Bless You All!
