Women in Lokoja LGA have joined in prayers for Hon. Sunday Karimi to emerge as the Senator that will represent Kogi West in 2023.
The women were not left out in the gesture of Hon. Karimi, recall that the Senatorial District Aspirant as part of the yuletide Celebration distributed rice and other food stuffs to all the Wards in Kogi West Senatorial District.
The women gathered in Lokoja to pray for Hon Sunday Karimi, described him as what the District needs in 2023, prayed God to grant him his heart desires.
The Former House of Representatives Member for Yagba Federal Constituency, Hon Sunday Karimi distributed rice to the 85 Wards in Kogi West Senatorial District.
The former Lawmaker said the gesture is a way of appreciating the people in the last year and to welcome them into the new year.
He disclosed that his Support to the people would be sustained in the new year, thanked them for standing by him in his Political aspiration.
Hon. Karimi said he began the fixing of the Kabba Ilorin road last year, said the project would be completed soon this year.
He added that in the last year, he reactivated several broken down water and light facilities he attracted as Constituency projects while he served, promised to continue with his support for indigent Students’ from his area.
He disclosed that his aspiration to the Senate is receiving so much support, commended the confidence the people have reposed on him, promised to adequately represent them well if elected.
The former Lawmaker thanked Gov. Yahaya Bello for making the peace and Security of the state, Particularly Yagba Federal Constituency a top priority, wished him well in his Presidential Aspiration.
