Prof Olayemi Akinwumi, Vice Chancellor, Federal University Lokoja as part of activities marking the yuletide, celebrate widows numbering about 262 in Ekinrin Adde in Ijumu Local Government.
The occasion was witnessed by the Paramount ruler of the Kingdom, Olu Anthony Bamigbaiye Idowu as part of activities to celebrate the yuletide.
Apart from the various gifts to the women, a medical team was on hand to attend to the women.
The widows were excited, prayed for the Vice Chancellor to break new frontiers in the coming years as well prosperity for the federal university Lokoja.
The programme was held on the 22nd December at the CAC, No 1 in Ekinrin Adde.
