… Calls for Unity, Pledges Stronger Leadership Ahead of 2027
Lokoja — The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kogi State, Hon. Muhammed Sanni Gambo, has appealed to all party members and supporters to rally behind the leadership as the party prepares for the 2027 elections.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Hon. Gambo praised the contributions of key stakeholders and leaders of the party, describing their efforts as the “staying power” that has kept the PDP relevant in the state.
He singled out several leaders for their exceptional contributions, including former Governor Ibrahim Idris, Senator Natasha Akpoti Udaughan, Hon. Abdulrahman Danga, Hon. TJ Yusuf, Barr. Shaba Ibrahim, Hon. Humphrey Abah, Barr. Kabiru, Hon. Aliyu Akuh, Hon. Badamasui Abdulrahman and many others too numerous to mention across the State, said they are heroes and heroine the Party will forever remain grateful to, wished them a wonderful experience in this Yuletide season.
Hon. Gambo emphasized that the party’s unity and strength are crucial to its success, stating that “the PDP has all it takes to return to power in 2027.” He urged members who have left the party to return, saying “they cannot be tenants in another man’s house.”
The Chairman also extended his appreciation to all members who have remained loyal to the party, and wished the leadership a “wonderful Yuletide season.” He expressed his commitment to leading the party through the challenging times ahead and appealed for the cooperation of all members in the ongoing repositioning of the party.
“We are seeking the cooperation of all members in the ongoing repositioning of the party. I remain a servant, a tool, and a pencil, who is only by Providence given the opportunity to lead the party in these challenging times,” Hon. Gambo stated.
The statement concluded with a call to all stakeholders to join hands in building a stronger, more united PDP in Kogi State, with the aim of reclaiming power in 2027.
