Yuletide: Engr. Ohere Felicitates With Christians, Calls For Renewed Commitment to Prayers, Selfless Services.


 

The Kogi State Commissioner for Works and Housing, Engr. Abubakar Ohere has sent a message of Felicitation to Christians on the Celebration of this year’s Christmas celebration.

The Works and Housing Commissioner in a message urged Christians in the State to use this special occasion which commemorates the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ for fervent prayers, selfless services for the State.

Engr. Ohere said the Christmas Celebration calls for renewed Commitment to making the state great, said the Celebration calls for citizens to show love and kindness to one another through sacrificial giving.

Engr. Ohere tasked christians on the need to be their brother’s keeper, said the season should be for one showing love and care, Commended the peace that is existing in the state.

Engr. Ohere called for Prayers for the nation and state in particular, said 2020 is undeniably hard and challenging for our nation in view of the ravaging scourge of Covid19 amidst other economic and security challenges.

While Congratulating Gov. Yahaya Bello on the special occasion of this year’s Christmas, Engr. Ohere rejoiced with the people of the State for witnessing yet another Christmas, prayed for a prosperous and more rewarding New year.

The Commissioner called for support for the administration of Gov. Yahaya Bello and the APC led administration in the coming year, prayed God to grant the State prosperity and happiness in the new year.
