Youths Inclusiveness In Governance Panacea For National Development Says Ebonyi NYCN Boss

The state Chairman of National Youth Council of Nigeria NYCN Ebonyi state chapter Comrade Douglas Ochishi has described Youth inclusiveness in governance as a panacea for national development.
The NYCN boss made the assertion during the South-east zonal meeting of the All progressive Congress (APC) in Abakaliki, the Ebonyi State Capital.
Comrade Ochishi who described the meeting as very apt, called on government at all levels, agencies, parastatals, private sectors, non governmental organizations and civil society organisations to partner with the Apex youth body to enhance national development.
He noted that the APC zonal meeting was focused on the need to stabilise the party in the zone as well as crave for fair share and equitable distribution of national positions and the dividends of democracy in the zone.
Earlier in their seperate remarks, the national chairman of APC Dr. Umar Ganduje and the chairman of progressive governor’s forum Senator Hope Uzodinma expressed optimism that APC would clear all the state in south-east Zone come 2027 general elections, stressing on the need for unity among members of the party.
The duo lauded governor Nwifuru for his developmental strides in the State and attributed the mass defections of opposition political parties in the zone to the transformational leadership of APC led administration in the zone.
Meanwhile, the Governor of Ebonyi State Chief Francis Nwifuru said his administration was poised to transforming every sector including the youth constituency for speedy delivery of people’s charter of needs agenda of his administration.
He assured to continue prioritizing on the needs and yearnings of Ebonyi people.
The meeting witnessed the presence of the former Senate President Senator Anyim Pius Anyim, the Deputy Chief Whip of the Nigerian 10th senate and senator representing Ebonyi North Senatorial District of Ebonyi state Sen. Peter Onyekachi Nwebonyi, the deputy speaker Federal House of representatives Rt. Hon. Benjamin kalu, Ebonyi State APC chief Stanley Okoro Emegha among others.
