Ahead of the forthcoming Governorship Elections in the state, Kogi State Forum of Political Appointees between year 2012-2016 has sent a very strong warning to the ADC Governorship candidate, Elder Leke Abejide to make his campaign an Issue-Based or else, he will incur the anger of her members.
According to a statement made available to the media and signed by the Leadership of the association, Hon. Sadiq Abubakar Ainoko Sadiq, former Commissioner For Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs and Barr. Kayode Olowomoran, Former Commissioner For Culture, described Abejide’s attack on Governor Yahaya Bello for paying their outstanding salaries as reckless and insensitive outburst from a man who is DREAMING to govern the state.
For the uptheent time, we will forever remain grateful to Governor Yahaya Bello for his unparalleled magnanimity to pay our outstanding salaries.
We have no regret erecting giant billboards across the state to appreciate the Governor. From your childish outburst it shows you’re not matured, fit to govern the state. You’re a WAEC paying Governor who would not even win Yagba East, reason why your outright rejection across the State.
More importantly, let it be known to Leke Abejide that the Forum has even gone further to secure a campaign office in support of ODODO-JOEL 2023 Project.
As we speak, a world Press Conference has been slated for first week of October when we shall be officially unveiling the campaign office and presentation of campaign souvenirs like T-shirts and Faz-Cap, Posters and more billboards.
We are using this opportunity to tell the whole world that Leke Abejide is the ENEMY of Ex-political appointees in the state hence his decision to condemn the political will and kind gesture of Governor Yahaya Bello to pay our outstanding salaries.
Leke Abejide will continue to be disappointed as his wicked outburst and hatred for us will not stop Gov. Yahaya Bello from paying the second trench of the monthly salary any moment from now.
