A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi West, Barrister David Aiyedogbon popularly called ‘Charvid’ has urged the people of Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency to come out in their large numbers to participate in the ongoing Voters registration.
Recall that, the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC on Monday 28 June, 2021 commenced online nationwide voters registration ahead of the 2023 general elections.
Barrister Aiyedogbon who is a Frontline Aspirant for Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency in the next election encouraged the people to make themselves available for the all important exercise.
He said it is only when they have their Permanent Voters Card (PVCs) that can give them the power to choose their leaders.
According to him, registering for the permanent voter’s card is a sure way to elect credible Leaders, adding that, citizens from age 18 and above to take advantage of the opportunity to get registered.
“We encourage our people to register, to be able to exercise their civic right. Registration means effective participation in the Political process anybody who is not registered will not participate in Political process. So we encourage them to come out in their large numbers and participate in how their leader is elected. When you don’t participate in electoral process, you cannot complain of bad governance”.

1. Prospective registrants should visit www.cvr.inec.gov.ng or www.cvr.inecnigeria.org on their phones and computers.
2. Registrants should create an account with a valid email address to begin the registration.
3. A link will be sent to your email during registration. Click on the link to continue with your registration.
4. Fill the online form with the relevant information and avoid mistakes.
5. Select a convenient date and time you will visit the INEC office for your biometric and data capture.
6. Then submit your application. An application slip with your ID number and barcode will appear on your screen.
7. Print the application slip and visit the INEC office on your scheduled date for data capture.
8. A registration slip will be given to you after the exercise. Keep it safe because you will use it to collect your permanent voter’s card.
