You are a cheerful giver; Gov. Bello commends Comrade Joshua Opia


for building a church for his community

Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Yahaya Bello represented by the Deputy Speaker of Kogi State, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed on Saturday 4th September, 2021 attends the dedication of St. Luke Church, which was built by Hon Comrade Joshua Opia Ojieh, the Spokesperson, Leadership Peace and Cultural Development Initiatives and donated to his community in Delta State.

Chief Opia at the dedication of the church stated that the donation was a way of showing gratitude to God for His grace towards him and his family, and described the occasion as a day of thanksgiving. He explained that the best way he could appreciate God for his grace to him and family was to build a church for the Christian faithfuls in the area.

The Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello who was represented by Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed commended Hon Joshua Opia for building the church to show gratitude to God for His grace to him and family. Describing him as a cheerful giver and lover of his people, he said what God requires from people is to extend helping hands to the poor and continue the act of goodwill. He also urged the statekeholders to ensure that it serves as a centre of unity.

The church program witnesses friends, business associates, politicians from across the country who troop in to rejoice with the spokesperson of Leadership Peace and Cultural Development Initiatives, who is a major stakeholder in the Niger Delta region.
