It was a night of glamour and fun-filled moment of honour for the graduating students of BUK Master’s in communication studies (Mcs) class 2021, who hosted colleagues and lecturers in the department of Mass communication, faculty of Communication, to a colourful and lavish send-fort dinner and award night to celebrate successful completion of the Mcs programme of study, held on Friday, 3 August, 2021.
The venue was the popular Eatery in the City of Kano, Tribes by Meena, located at Nasarawa GRA, Kano. the security presence and serenity of the venue, gave comfort and sense of security for the guests and fellow participants.
The magnificent hall was colourfully and tastefully decorated to the admiration of gleefully dressed guests and organisers of the resplendent dinner. And, the rollicking atmosphere of the venue was awesomely electrifying as everyone present was obviously in a humorous and relaxed mood amidst the glamorous moments of joy and recognition.
The lively event provided an occasion for the Mcs female Sybarites to ” Shake Bodies” with some quick dance steps accompanied with tuneful and delig thtful Music as they roistered with ecstasies or simply put, wild excitements.
The Dr Abubakar Shehu Minjibir, who chaired the event, advised the celebrants to be good Ambassadors of the institu and technology, Wudil, as “intellectual wizard, ” “Jovial and friendly”, “kind “, “strict and straight forward ” among adjectives used to describe their individual qualities and intellectual prowess.
The celebrants including my humble self, had expressed dept of joy and deep sense of fulfilment of the attainment or achievement of Mcs (in view) as the sweet memories of our academic experiences at the famous BUK and its lasting impressions on us, will last long.
