Hon Yemisi Oshaloto has joined candidates of 18 political parties drawn from seven Northern states of the country for a pre-election conference tagged Convergence 4.0. The conference is one of the largest gathering of young people running for elective office in the 2023 elections in Northern Nigeria.
The event is scheduled to take place in the city of Kano from Tuesday 29th of November to Thursday 30th, 2022. According to Yiaga Africa, the organiser of Convergence, it is a forum for emerging political leaders who are committed to transformational public leadership to reflect, engage and build generational solidarity in their quest to run for elective office.
YIAGA Africa said it will equip young people with the knowledge, skills and networks for running effective political campaigns and winning elections with the inspiration, knowledge, and solidarity.
The conference will feature 30 speakers, curators and facilitators; 5 talk sessions; and 5 master classes.
