The Honourable Member Representing Yagba Federal Constituency, Hon. Leke Abejide paid a courtesy visit to Dr Boboye Olayemi Oyeyemi, Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in his office to foster a good relationship.
Hon. Leke Abejide commended the leadership of Dr Boboye on how he has been able to improve the prowess and swift action of the FRSC corps.
Hon. Leke said FRSC is the lead agency that oversees the prevention of road accidents l, clearing obstructions, and educating drivers on proper usage of the highways.
“I need to come here and pledge my unalloyed support, cooperation, collaboration and synergy with the FRSC corps under the leadership of Dr Boboye Oyeyemi, to enable us to provide the required environment for citizens of this country to go about their lawful businesses”.
He said that the security agencies also required the support, cooperation and collaboration of members of the public to effectively tackle the security challenges and obstacles on our highways.
Hon. Leke assured the corps marshall of his total cooperation and readiness to work with him to improve the service delivery of the FRSC across the board.
Responding, the Corps Marshall of the FRSC, Dr Boboye Oyeyemi said “I am delighted to receive the honourable member representing the people of Yagba Federal Constituency, this shows that our work as a public servant is appreciated”. He assured him that the FRSC will continue to corporate with the people to give adequately, the needed security for citizens on the highway as well as educating drivers.
He further expresses confidence that the Federal Road Safety Corps under his leadership will continue to synergise and support the Nigerians to build appropriate capacities, to collectively secure the highways and clear highway gridlocks.
