Yagba East APC Stakeholders meet to foster Unity


 

In the quest to sustain party stability and cohesion as the general election draws closer, APC stakeholders in Yagba East as presided over by the Honourable member representing Yagba East state constituency, KGHA, Hon. Jimoh Omiata meets in Lokoja to discuss the progress of the party.

 

After thorough dissection of issues that affects the party in the past and presently by various stakeholders, it was unanimously agreed that the progress of the party and her imminent victory at the poll is dependent on our commitment to the party, love for one another which will eventually breed a stable and united party. No party goes to the poll divided and comes out victorious.

It was majorly stated that politics from time immemorial is a game of interest, which is expected to differ in some cases, but we must not allow such pursuit to erode our personal relationships, stability and synergy within the party.

As Yagba East APC, agreement was collectively reached, that all gaps and differences must be closed, hence, the overall development of the party must be at the fore.

It was also resonated at the meeting and subsequently agreed that the victory of APC candidates at the general election from the President down to the state House of Assembly is not negotiable, and the work must start now.

The meeting is scheduled to hold continuously, because it’s a veritable plartform to explore and unify more for greater strides as a LGA.

The stakeholders at the meeting includes, Hon Kehinde Ate, the Chairman of APC in Yagba East LGA, Hon. Abdulrasaq ijagbemi, Executive Chairman Yagba East LGA; Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris,FCA, Hon. Commissioner of Finance, Budget and Economic Planning; Hon. Ahmadu Jubril, S. A. Youths and student Affairs; Hon. Afolabi Raji, S.A Special Duties 1, Senior Special Assistants, Hon Banji Aiyelabowo, Hon Eunice Olukomogbon and Special Assistants Ahmed Ahmed and Mrs Florence. Also present were Counselors, Appointees from LGA, and other stakeholders from the Local Government.
