Comr. Olonikadi Austin Dare, President, Okun Rebirth Group, has asked Gov. Yahaya Bello to make himself a generational leader by allowing power shift to Kogi West.
The President of the Group made the disclosure in a statement, urged Gov. Bello not to allow the personal, selfish and ethnic interest of people around him to becloud his decision in allowing power shift to the West.
The President described people of Kogi West as people who have supported and remain loyal to the administration of Gov. Bello, urged him to write his name in gold to be remembered forever in the minds of Kogi West people.
While pointing out that it would be unfair, unjust to deny the people of Kogi West who have solidly stood by him to achieve success in his administration not to produce the Governorship of the State in 2023, urged him to allow power shift to Kogi West.
While pointing out that it is a golden opportunity golden for Gov. Bello to reign, celebrated forever, urged him to cease the opportunity to do justice for his generation yet unborn to remember him for good, as a man with the fear of God.
He urge the government not allow primordial sentiments of some of his lieutenants with self serving interest to becloud his decision, said Gov. Bello’s name will stand tall like his outstanding achievements if he caps it up by allowing power shift
While pointing out that Gov. Bello has groomed many lieutenants within and outside his government, urged him to remain in the hearts of Kogi people forever by allowing power shift to Kogi West.
He urged Gov. Bello to give fairness and Justice to Kogi West people for his name to be celebrated for eternity, described the demand as a generational demand that would ensure that generations yet unborn remember him for standing tall for justice and standing by his words.
While pointing out that Kogi West people are not arrogant and rude, said they hold the Governor in high esteem, urged him to live in the hearts of the people by shunning the primordial sentiments of a few in the interest of the majority.
