The Secretary, Kogi State Christian Pilgrimage Commission, Deacon Simeon Onakpa Ph.D (JP) has been presented with a Certificate of Excellence.
The presentation of the Certificate of Excellence and Credence was from the State Chapter of Radio Television and Theatre Arts Workers Union (RATTAWU).
The presentation of the Certificate to Dcn. Simeon Onakpa Ph.D (JP) was part of activities by the Union to mark the 2023 Workers Day Celebration.
While presenting the Award, the State Chairman of RATTAWU Comr. Hassan Yakubu, described Dr. Simeon Onakpa as a man of many parts who has distinguished himself in his assignments.
The State Chairman added that Dr. Onakpa is a prolific and experienced broadcast Journalist, a Protocol and Pilgrimage administrator per Excellence, praised him for his humility and for being God fearing.
The Chairman noted that the presentation of the Certificate of Excellence to Dr. Simeon Onakpa is informed by his several achievements which includes; the building of Radio Office and Staff Canteen when he was Chairman of Radio Kogi Chapter of the Union, described the efforts and several others as modest, saying that he has also made RATTAWU proud by identifying with Members at all times.
Responding Dr. Simeon Onakpa expressed his gratitude to God, the Executive Governor of the State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for the privileged to serve and in the appointment, expressed appreciation and gratitude to the State RATTAWU officials for the honour done to him.
