WITHDRAWAL OF LAWSUITS: DR SALISU OGBO USMAN HAILS PRINCE SHUAIBU ABUBAKAR AUDU, DR SANUSI OHIERE’S STANCE ON HON ODODO CANDIDACY, PLEDGES UNALLOYED COMMITMENT, SUPPORT


 

The Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, Dr. Salisu Ogbo Usman has on applauded Prince Shaibu Abubakar Audu and Dr. Sanusi Ohiere both aspirants for the Kogi State All Progressives Congress party’s primary elections held on April 14, 2023 for withdrawing their lawsuit against the winner of the primary, Hon Ahmed Usman Ododo.

 

 

Prince Shaibu and Dr. Sanusi visited His Excellency Governor Yahaya Bello and were cheerfully received on Tuesday 2nd May, 2023 at the Governor’s lodge, Abuja.

Prince Shaibu and Dr. Sanusi during their visit to Governor Yahaya Bello said – their decisions to withdraw their lawsuits is premised on the interest of sustaining the strength of the party as it supersede individual interest and also commended Governor Yahaya Bello for his ingenuity and leadership in galvanizing the party structure for unprecedented success in Kogi State.

Governor Yahaya Bello who commended Prince Shaibu and Dr. Sanusi for their bravery and spirits of sportsmanship before and after the primaries reiterated the strength and unity of APC in Kogi State in the last (7) seven years which has obviously led to APC victories across the board.

The All Progressive Congress (APC) Gubernatorial candidate, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo expressed confidence in the party’s unity as they prepare for the upcoming election and also acknowledged the solid foundation laid by His Excellency Governor Yahaya Bello which he promised will be sustained.

Dr. Salisu Ogbo Usman who was in company of the All Progressive Congress (APC) governorship candidate praised Prince Shaibu and Dr. Ohiere for their display of sportsmanship and maturities in the interest of the party whilst urging the APC stalwarts across the districts in Kogi State to key into the current progressive movement ahead of November 11 Governorship poll.
