Kogi Education Commissioner Gets Another Honour, appointed Patron Better Kogi Initiative(BEKI)
The Better Kogi Initiative has appointed the Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Hon. Wemi Jones as the Patron of the forum.
The Forum while making the appointment said ” Following the election of our party(APC) Flag Bearer, Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman and the subsequent establishment of the Support Group for the Purpose of sensitization and mobilization for the success of our great party, (APC) the Management sees the need to appoint the Commissioner as the Patron of the forum
” The appointment is in recognition of the Commissioner’s track record in Community development, capacity building and peerless leadership/ mentorship prowess, most importantly, the successes he has recorded in the position he currently occupies in the New Direction Government of Kogi State
” The Forum has become a center piece that promotes good work, exemplary leadership, capacity, unity, development and good governance”.
At the sideline of the meeting with the Commissioner, the group presented an award of excellence to the commissioner in recognition of his sterling performance in Education, Science and Technology and Community Development in the State
The Commissioner in a remarks appreciated the group, assured them of his support to the forum
The Commissioner indeed dedicated the award to His Excellency Yahaya Bello, described him as the Education-Friendly Governor.
