WIKE MEETS CAMPAIGN COUNCIL


 

Governor Samuel Ortom joined others members of the Nyesom Wike Presidential Campaign Organization at an enlarged meeting Sunday, July 31st, 2022 for several hours. This is the first time the campaign coordinators will meet after the national convention that produced Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as the Presidential candidate for the PDP.

 

Spokesman of the Group, Prof Jerry Gana in a brief but terse statement to journalists disclosed that Group met to review the convention and other issues related to it thereto.

He said their supporters will be briefed accordingly as discussions on the way forward continue to unfold.

Some of those who attended the meeting included Governors Nyesom Wike, Seyi Makinde, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Rivers, Oyo and Enugu States respectively.

Others are former Governors Jonah David Jang, Dr Segun Mimiko, Donald Duke, Ibrahim Dankwambo, Ibrahim Idris of Plateau, Ondo, Cross Rivers, Gombe and Kogi states.

Also in attendance were the Senate Minority Leader, Senator Phillip Aduda, Senator Zainab Kure, Senator Suleiman Nazif, former Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Mohammed Adoke, SAN, Mohammed Abacha, Hon. David Ombagadu, the PDP Governorship candidate in Nasarawa State, Hon. Beni Lar, Hon Tijjani Yusuf among many others.
