We have lost a patriot, Icon of Excellence in Dr Abdulazeez Umar Farooq – Alhaji Adamu Mahmoud Atta.


 

Alhaji Adamu Mahmoud Atta has described the death of the renowned medical practitioner and pharmaceutical manufacturer, Dr Abdulazeez Umar Farooq as a huge loss to Ebiraland, Kogi State and the nation as a whole.

Alhaji Adamu Mahmoud Atta in a Statement signed by Chief Sam Abenemi, Director General, Adamu Mahmoud Atta Support Group, AMASG, and made available to Newsmen in Lokoja on Friday, described late Dr Abdulazeez as a patriot, an icon of excellence, shining example of a leader per excellence who made and left indelible marks.

Alhaji Adamu Mahmoud Atta described the late Royal College of Surgeons’ trained medical expert as a man who lived his life for humanity and the service of God, said he has left a big vacuum very difficult to fill in the field of medicine and pharmaceuticals, said he would be missed greatly.

“The death of Adayi Dr Abdulazeez Umar Farouq is a huge loss to me, anebira and the nation at large but from God we come and to Him we shall all return”.

” We will miss the leadership qualities of Dr Abdulazeez, his unprecedented management of human and material resources which remains second to none. That he lived an accomplished life, fulfilling his mission on earth and has returned to his maker is the solace that his demise has created.

While we are consoled by the virtue of Dr Abdulazeez Umar Farooq, a humble, peace-loving statesman with a legendary commitment to excellence, it is our ernest consolation that his good works has already find him a place in Aljanah Fidaus.

Alhaji Adamu Mahmoud Atta used the opportunity to comfort the immediate family of the deceased to accept the death as an inevitable circumstance, prayed for the peaceful repose of the soul of the deceased

Dr Abdulazeez Umar passed on at the age of 84 on Wednesday, February 1, 2023.
