The Nigeria New Direction Ambassadors (NNDA) is a group and pipeline of politically active Nigerian youths drawn from across the 36 states and the federal capital territory Abuja. We hereby issue this press statement challenging and calling on the FACE OF A NEW NIGERIA, the youthful, resourceful, security conscious and visionary Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello to run for President of Nigeria, come 2023.
NNDA have through thorough analysis, discovered that Nigeria is in dire need of a workaholic, intelligent, gender sensitive, responsive, security conscious and detribalised leader to pilot the affairs of our great nation, and all these qualities abound in Governor Yahaya Chukwueze Obalola Bello. He has proven beyond reasonable doubt, that he has the capability to propel our nation to an enviable level, where all the ills of nepotism and religion intolerance bedeviling our country will be expunged and Nigeria would take her rightful place in the league of nations.
I, Hon. Shehu Lashek Yahaya, on behalf of the national, regional and state coordinators of the Nigeria New Direction Ambassadors, by this press release, challenge Governor Yahaya Bello to listen to the yearnings of our teaming youths by running for President of the federal republic of Nigeria in 2023, as we the youths, home and abroad have seen in him glaring leadership qualities that can salvage our country towards a NEW DIRECTION of shared prosperity.
While congratulating him and acknowledging his giant strides in the last five years in Kogi State, we are pledging to stand solidly behind him in all ramification to actualize this onerous and lofty dreams of a secure and developing country, because in him is our hope for a Just and a New Nigeria to call our own.
