
Visioneer Club Kabba Admits Kogi Finance Commissioner Into Hall of Fame

… As Commissioner says Gov. Ododo will continue to build on transparency, accountability.


The Kogi State Commissioner For Finance Budget and Economic Planning Asiwaju Asiru Idris says, the administration of Gov Usman Ahmed Ododo will continue to build on the veritable tool of transparency and accountability in discharging it responsibilities to the people of the State.

The Finance Commissioner made the disclosure during his investiture into the prestigious Hall of Fame of Visioneer Club Of Kabba, pointing out that the time for citizens irrespective of location to work collectively in building a united Kogi State is now.
The Finance Commissioner described the present administration as one that is committed to transparency, assured that the administration has remained judicious and prudent in managing the State resources.
While pointing out that the present administration is not oblivious to the needs of the people, reason why it is committed to entrenching last longing legacies that would outlive the current challenges.
He described Gov. Ododo as working round the clock to ensure that no stone would be left unturned in providing the much talked about dividends of democracy to the people.
He described the accomplishments of the administration in the last one year as one that built on the legacies laid by the previous administration of former Gov. Yahaya Bello, said the pains witnessed in the country would soon be a thing of the past, pointing out that The APC led administration is resolved in putting to an end the long problems that have militated it growth.
He called on the members of the Club to continue to support the present administration, pointing out that they have in no small measure helped in stabilizing the administration.
He urge the club to always support the government of Alhaji ododo having realized the socio-Political strength of the club
He added that he is not taking his admittance into the Club for granted, says his admittance into the Club will be for the good of all and the benefit of the State.
He assured that on behalf of his family and the good people of Isanlu, he will continue to make the best in the discharged of his endeavors to the people and to the State.
The spokesperson of the club, Barr. Alfred Bello, said the club finds Asiwaju Asiru Idris worthy of admittance into the club, described him as rare breed professional who has remained untainted in discharging his duties.
Highlights of the investiture of Asiwaju Asiru Idris into the club was his decoration and presentation of the clubs insignia.
The club has other members including former, Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Matthew Kolawole, Hon Jethro Funsho Oni, Mike Abejirin, Hon Ben Olorunfemi, Barr Segun Modeyin and Surv. Timothy Samuel who is the President of the Club.
