Ustaz Ibrahim Adabara has been elected as the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Okene LG.


 

A former 11 wards chairman for Hon. Omuya, has been elected as chairman of the Okene chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party.

Adabara polled 706 votes to defeat others contestants.

Over 707 delegates from the 11 wards of Okene Local Government Areas of Kogi state voted in the election.

While announcing the results, the chairman of the electoral panel said that Ibrahim Adabara polled 707 votes to defeat two other contestants including a former Okene LG PDP chairmanship candidate said “We came in from Abuja with accreditation list and at the end of the day, 710 delegates were accredited. For the position of chairman, Ibrahim Adabara scored 706 votes;

“Having scored the highest number of votes, I hereby declare as the Okene Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in Kogi state.”
