
Kogi State Government has directed Heads of security agencies to use their professionalism to unraveled perpetrators of Oganenigu communities in Dekina Local Government Area killings and burning of houses.

Governor Yahaya Bello gave the directive in a message during an on the spot assessment of the recent invasion of Fulani headsmen to Aloko Oganenigu communities of Dekina Local Government Area of the state.
The Governor Represented by the Deputy Chief Edward Onoja discribed the distruction as barbaric though not frequent in Kogi State.
Governor Bello frown at the unwarranted attacks and reiterate that culprit will be brought to law as soon as security concluded their investigation.
While speaking on the intrusion of suspected headsmen he called on the people of the communities never to take laws into their hands.
Governor Yahaya Bello Commended the proactiveness of security agencies and lamented that no human being has the right to take another man life.
Speaking in an interview with one of the affected villages AKPA Stephen said about ten people lost their lives while property was destroyed during the crasis.
Our correspondent Ernest Zhokwo said citizens of Oganenigu deserted their houses to neighbouring villages of Anyingba, Iyale Lokoja for safety.
