We have all answered well , let me also define what UBI is for the house,
Universal basic income (UBI) is a governmental, Charity or Organisational program in which every citizen/members receives a set amount of money on a regular basis whether you work or not, whether you have a job or not. The goals of a basic income system are to alleviate poverty and replace other need-based social programs that potentially require greater bureaucratic involvement.????

Have you seen from the definition that it is a government program, this alone will let the government understand that UBI Inksnation has introduced to his community through blockchain is not against the government, but to help those in need also foster the development of the community and reduce crime in the land.
With UBI they will be mutual relationship without fear of the unknown because everyone will be given privilege to have a meaningful life, and when you have a meaningful life you will not like to mess it up either will you cause what will stop you from enjoying that privilege ,

Why you see crime everywhere which is not common in the western world is because people are not living up to their expectations, many are hungry and this will lead to envy and will make people go into crime in the land, because those who can not afford daily meals will be jealous of those driving cars ,
Because there will be pain,
They can not afford for themselves, They can not afford for their children, They can’t afford their shelter,
They can’t afford for their relatives,
I mean when one see life in this condition, if you don’t have fear of God you will end up going into crime,
