Focus Africa, a non-profit, non-governmental and non- partisan organization that’s focused on promoting excellence in leadership and beaming search light on public office holders who has exceptionally measured up to the expectations of the masses and mandate of the office they occupy. They are focused on recognising, encouraging and motivating leaders that has proved their mettle as nation builder.
During their award night which was held today at the Nicon luxury hotels in Abuja, Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris, FCA was a recipient of an award of excellence in purposeful leadership and youth development.
In his remarks, represented by Mr Patrick Ola Daniel’s, he expressed immesne gratitude with deep sense of humility to the organisers of the event, Focus Africa, for finding him worthy of the prestigious award, which he said will spur him to do more, in providing productive, humane and people oriented leadership.
Further more, he appreciated his principal and Mentor, Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello for giving him the plartform not only to show his leadership capacity, but also to develop under his visionary, youthful and courageous leadership. He dedicated the award to the Governor and the good people of kogi state for their unwavering support and cooperation in the discharge of his duty.
Earlier, the organisers said that Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris, FCA was choosen for the award premised on his stellar records of indelible service to humanity and delivering of democratic dividends cum good governance to the masses.
