The Chief of Staff to Kogi State Government,
Pharm. Abdulkereem Asuku Jamiu has described Gov. Yahaya Bello as the modern day Yakubu Gowon when the issues of uniting the country is considered.
Pharm. Abdulkereem in a statement described Gov. Bello as the bridge between the North and South, Said what the Country needs moving forward in 2023 is a unifier in the mould of Gov. Bello.
He pointed out that Nigerians should rally round Gov. Bello in 2023, said his patriotism, selfless sacrifice and commitment to a one Nigeria, puts him in the mould of Gen. Yakubu Gowon.
While lauding the efforts of Gov. Bello in youths and Women empowerment, Pharm. Abdulkareem said the gesture to empower the youths has made them the much talked about Leaders of yesterday for today.
The CoS commended the handling of the VAT issue, insecurity, unity, religious harmony, infrastructure development amongst other outstanding performances of Gov. Bello as what stands him out amongst other gladiators in 2023, solicited the support of all and sundry in the realization of the ambition of Gov. Bello when he finally accepts to run.
According to the Statement: “Governor Yahaya Bello (GYB) is the modern day Yakubu Gowon who is working assiduously to unite the North and the South through a handshake across the Niger.
GYB is without mincing words, the bridge between the North and South, between the old and the new, between the fast and the slow. We the Young Nigerians have a duty to ensure that he is given a chance to lead Nigeria to a prosperous promise land.”
