Uniben Set To Launch An Electric Tricycle Campus Transportation Scheme,

The University of Benin is set to launch an Electric Tricycle Campus Transportation Scheme, which is aimed at enhancing the University’s transportation system.
This initiative is expected to provide a safer, more convenient, and eco-friendly mode of transportation for students and staff, reducing the challenges posed by vast distances between faculties and departments.
This was disclosed by Iyamu Osaro Culture, President Aiguobasinmwin Movement World- Wide while speaking to journalists about the current work going on in the University campus.
The Electric Tricycle Campus Transportation Scheme aligns with the global shift towards sustainable transportation, reducing carbon emissions and promoting a healthier environment.
Iyamu, who applaud Professor Edoba Bright Omoregie SAN for taking this innovative step.
According to him, the Vice – “Chancellor, Professor Edoba Bright Omoregie SAN, has vowed to make the University of Benin one of the best in the world which will be the envy of other institutions.”
He further added that, the initiative which is expected to provide a safer, more convenient, and eco-friendly mode of transportation for students and staff, reducing the challenges posed by vast distances between faculties and departments is a very welcome project.” He stated.
