Medical experts from around the world are currently in Benin for the NIDCOM DIASPORA Medical Health Impact Initiative event tagged, “Endometriosis Ultrasound National Capacity Building Program” for gynecologists, radiologists, sonographers, and reproductive health practitioners.
The Chief Medical Director of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH), Prof. Idia Ize-Iyamu hosted these professionals on Sunday evening [ 19th July, 2026] to a grand reception.
Notable attendees include Dr. Uche Menakaya, Gynecologist and Endoscopic Surgeon from Australia, Prof. Francesco Cedne from the University of Milan, Italy, Prof. Ligita Jokubkiene from Lund University, Sweden, and Juliet Menakaya from Australia.
