TRIBUTE TO COMRADE ADO IBRAHIM MUSA: YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO SOCIETAL DEVELOPMENT IS FIRST-CLASS
I am still trying to come to terms with the sad news of the untimely demise of a brother, a friend, Comr. Ado Ibrahim Musa. I know death is painful; however, death taking a revolutionary, a community developer, a builder like Comr. Musa is excruciatingly more painful. His dedication and commitment to community works has never seen a match until his demise.
Comr. Ado Ibrahim Musa practically preoccupied himself with societal issues all the ways – he chooses not to be a bootlicker, he was not a toady or data-boy to the oppressors whereas, he was everything beneficial to the community. The youths’ body of Ebira nation has indeed lost a dogged, resourceful and a personified communitarian.
I have known him from childhood but got closer since 2014/15 when I became the Secretary-General to Ebira Youth Congress. He has been a guide and motivator to me and many. He was a visionary youth who gave shape to several organizations in Ebiraland. In matters of community emancipation, he has paid his due. He joined his voice and resources when Ebira People was in search for political relevance in Kogi State. The young people would look up to him and I have seen many getting highly influenced by his life style. In matters of comradeship, he was a role model for many.
We did not get to meet in person since January 2024. The last time we exchanged compliment was passing each other on bike at Ogaminana in December, 2023. It is so painful, that we will not have an opportunity to interact again. As youths of Ebiraland, we are not oblivion of the challenges ahead only that, we shall greatly miss a frontier on our way forward.
May your soul rest in peace and your family get the strength to go through this tough times.
