Toto/Gadabuke 2027: Tashas Appoints Yahaya Idris Toto as Spokesperson
An All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain and House of Assembly aspirant for the Toto/Gadabuke State Constituency, Hon. Aliyu Abdullahi Tashas, has appointed Yahaya Idris Toto, popularly known as the “Oracle of the New Media,” as his official spokesperson for the forthcoming electioneering campaign.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Tashas, a former Chairman of Toto Local Government Area, described Yahaya Idris as a seasoned new media strategist with a solid track record in political communication and public engagement.
He added that both of them had worked closely in the past, making the appointment a continuation of an established professional relationship.
Tashas noted that Yahaya Idris, a Philosophy graduate of the Federal University Lokoja, has attended several media trainings and workshops within and outside the state, equipping him with the required expertise for the role.
He further disclosed that Idris previously served as Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Media and Publicity during his administration, expressing confidence in his capacity to effectively manage his media and public relations engagements.
According to him, the appointment is aimed at strengthening his public image and ensuring effective communication of his policies, programmes, and campaign activities throughout the election period.
Reassuring constituents of Toto/Gadabuke, Tashas said his ambition to represent the area in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly is driven by the commitment to deliver quality representation, impactful leadership, and accelerated development.
Recalling his three-year tenure as council chairman, he stated that his administration successfully executed developmental projects across the three districts of the local government, adding that he seeks wider support to achieve more if elected to the State Assembly.
