By joshua Tinubu’s Daughter Commends Ohimege Igu for Promoting Peace in Koton-Karfe
The Ohimege Igu of Koton-karfe kingdom, Dr Saidu Akawu Salihu has been commended for promoting peace and security in his domain.
The daughter of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Hajia Folashade Tinubu Ojo gave the commendation when she paid a homage on the Royal father at his palace in kotonkarfe.
Hajia Folashade Tinubu Ojo who is also the Iyaloja general of Nigeria said she is in Kotonkarfe to pay a royal homage on the Ohimege of kotonkarfe kingdom and appreciate him for the relative peace been enjoyed in the area and appreciated the Ohimege for the warm reception accorded her and her entourage.
She stressed that she has heard so much about the peacefull co- existence amongst the people of kotonkarfe kingdom and prayed God to provide the Royal father sound health and longevity of life to help develop his kingdom to a greater heights.
Earlier, the Elelu of Mopa , Oba Muyiwa who was on the entourage of the daughter of the president informed the Iyaloja of Nigeria that His Royal Majesty, the Ohimege Igu of kotonkarfe kingdom is in the hierarchy of the state traditional council and next after Atta Igala and Ohinoyi of Ebira land, adding that kotonkarfe area is in western senatorial district of the state, describing kotonkarfe as a home for all.
In his remark, the Ohimege Igu of kotonkarfe kingdom, Dr Saidu Akawu Salihu described the daughter of the President, Hajia Folashade Tinubu Ojo as a great daughter of the nation and a very supportive woman who’s interest is geared towards the development of the masses , particularly the women folks, noting that the entire people of kotonkarfe kingdom are overwhelmed with joy for her visit asserting that there is hope for a better tomorrow with president Bola Ahmed Tinubu , adding that in Kogi state Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo is following the foot steps of the president through his all inclusive developmental programs.
While acknowledging what president Tinubu is doing to improve the economy of the country and the livelihood of Nigerians, the Royal father bestowed a traditional title on Hajia Folashade Tinubu as the Zinariya of Igu kotonkarfe kingdom, which means the Gold of kotonkarfe kingdom.
The Ohimege said as the Zinariya of the kingdom, she is saddled with the responsibility of protecting and projecting the kingdom to the outside world and prayed Allah to continue to protect and guide her as she transverse the country for a better tomorrow.
Highlight at the visit was the presentation of Egbura attire to Hajia Folashade Tinubu by the traditional ruler.
