The Motorcycle of a Kogi based Journalist, Emmanuel Oluwakorede was at the early hours of Saturday stolen n front of his house in Lokongoma Phase 1 Lokoja, the State Capital.
According to an eyewitness who does not want his name in print, the incident comes about 3 days after thieves allegedly burgled houses around Bluebird Hotel, Lokongoma about three days ago.
The Motorcycle was parked in front of his house at 8pm on Friday after a Church service but the young Reporter with Radio Kogi Lokoja didn’t see the bike, Jincheng with registration number ERE597QA Anne Red and black colour.
The incident is one of the many cases of motorcycle theft in Lokoja and its environs.
The Journalist told our Reporter that when the matter was reported to the D Division of the Nigeria Police, Kogi State Command, he was asked to bring #3000 to open file for the case.
He described the matter as unfortunate, saying the motorcycle which he purchased in 2014 has been his main sour of mobility in performing his duty…. Continue reading
