The Kogi State Community and Social Development Agency is organizing a special training for some key local government officers in the local government councils in the state.
The training is in preparatory for the commencement of implementation of the Nigeria Covid-19 Action Recovery and Economic Stimulus Programme (NG-CARES) in basic services.
As key stakeholders, in the NG-CARES Programme the sensitization and capacity building training would equip the local government officers for their roles and responsibilities in the implementation process.
The members of the local government review committee who would be participating in the training are:
Directors of local government, Heads of Departments of Works, Health, Education and the Community Development Officers.
The Training participants are expected from the following Local Government Areas:
Adavi, Ankpa, Bassa, Idah, Kabba-Bunu, Lokoja, Mopa-Amoro, Ofu, Ogori- Magogo, Okehi, Yagba-East.
The training will hold at the Confluence Hope Hotel Lokoja starting from 9am.
