The maiden edition of the EIGHTIES CONNECT REUNION EVENT is coming up in Kabba Town between 27th and 28th of December, 2023.
For the records, The EIGHTIES CONNECT is the gathering of Friends, Brothers and Contemporaries who dominated the Social Scene of Kabba Town in the 80s.
It is a product of over Thirty-Five years of Friendship and Brotherhood.
We are coming together for the mutual benefit of members and the Development of our community at large.
The EIGHTIES CONNECT has been able to overcome the primordial Sentiments that are inimical to the growth of most notable associations in our community in recent times.
According to a statement made available to our Reporter by the Publicity Secretary of the group, Hon. Austine Alaba TANTOLUWA, the EIGHTIES CONNECT is the bridge between the 70s and the 90s within the social cycle of Kabba Youths in the 80s.
We are coming together to Appreciate God for not allowing our youthful exuberance in the 80s to destroy our future.
Today, we are happy to be alive and doing well in our chosen careers.
We shall be having our REUNION CARNIVAL on the 27th December at St. Barnabas Secondary School (SBSS) PLANTATION FIELD and on the 28th December, our REUNION Night will take place at JONNY’S EVENT CENTER, kabba.
Together, we are stronger.
