Teachers Recruitment: Maintain Highest Level of Credibility, Transparency, Kogi Education Commissioner Tasks Panel Members.


 

The Kogi State Commissioner for Education Science and Technology, Hon. Wemi Jones Commissioner has charged the panel at the ongoing interview to recruit teachers in the State to maintain the highest level of credibility and the transparency in the discharge of there assignment.

 

The Commissioner gave the charge at the resumption of activities for the ongoing teachers recruitment urged them to use the opportunity of the exercise to chose the best for the state stating that Governor Yahaya Bello have given all necessary support to the process and to the education sector in the state

The Commissioner while addressing the panel of the Oral interview before the business of the day Warned against extortion, said whoever collected money from any applicant should return back the money, pointing out that the Governor has graciously approved 40% as pass mark for the oral interview, insisting that any applicants that scored less will not be accommodated

The panel which comprises of 12 different teams, drawn from three senatorial district has representation from the Head of Service, STETSCOM, Education Ministry and other key critical stakeholders in the education sector. The ten teams in the hall each contains three Persons from the three Senatorial district.

The Commissioner also talked about the extension of the interview for mop up process if at the end of the exercise, all the expected persons could not be accommodated.
