Sultanate Council Postpones Turbaning of Former Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris as the Jakadan SOKOTO


 

The planned Turbaning of Former Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris as the Jakadan SOKOTO (Ambassador) by the sultanate Council earlier slated for December 19, 2020 has been postponed.

According to a Statement signed by the Council, says the Sultanate is sensitive to the plights of the parents and students of the 333 abducted students of the Government Science Secondary School, Kankara, Katsina State, reason for the postponement.

The Sultanate prayed for the quick rescue of the students and for them to be reunited with their parents.

The sultanate regrets the inconveniences the postponement may have caused, said a new date for the Turbaning would be announced in due course.
