The Elder Leke Students Movement , ELSM, in Yagba federal constituency on Thursday held an endorsement rally for the candidate of the African Democratic Democratic Congress House of Representatives candidate, Hon Elder Leke Abejide.
The endorsement rally, which was held in Odo-Ere today was led by the National President of the Federation Of Yagba Students, Comrade Awarun Ekundayo Stephen and other comrades.
The over one hour rally started at Area court Odo-Ere through Old Garage westerned Junction, Jamodu Junction, Uba Junction,Okada Park, Primary Market,Akeweje Steet, palace road and terminated at Hon Ibikunle Idowu Shop opp Delight Guest House Ikoja Odo-Ere.
While endorsing the Candidate at of Odo-Ere, Awarun stated that the endorsement was based on the antecedents of Hon Leke Abejide as a house of Rep member.
“We, the students of Yagba Federal Constituency are endorsing Hon. Leke Abejide today, not only because of he’s a father figure to us all, but also he has shown great leadership skills, his past works and records have reflected on the lives of youths in the past years, it is just the right thing we give the endorsement to the right person”.
“Over the years, Leke Abejide has demonstrated his readiness to serve the people by paying WAEC fee and giving scholarship to the people in school and encouraging the students body.
With these records of good impacts, we endorse the Olohunwa to represent Ila Federal constituency in the House of Representatives, we believe he will pave way for students, youths when given the bigger, greater opportunity”.
The atmosphere of the campaign was adorned with students, who chanted his name clothed with T- shirts, caps and placards of the Law maker
