The Student Union Government of Federal University Lokoja led by its President, Comr. Olorunmagha Kehinde is set to host the Student Union Week for the 2020/2021 academic session.
According to Comr. Olorunmagha, the theme for the 2020/2021 SUG week has been tagged “Students All Sphere Development, A Catalyst for Nation Building”.
Comr. Olorunmagha revealed that the theme for the week long student week was inspired by the need for sustainable social change in society and to equip students of the Federal University Lokoja with the right understanding of what leadership entails, foster personal development and to address issues pertinent to youths in Nigeria.
He added that the program which is the first of its kind is in line with the sustainable blueprint of the Students Union under the current administration.
The week long student union week slated for 12th to 17th of July 2021 will feature a series of events and activities including a Students Leadership Summit in partnership with Mentor-Box Foundation, Entrepreneurship and Skills Development Workshop/Cultural Night, a Symposium on Preventing Violent Extremism, Community Cleaning and Celebration of Icons/Award Night.
