Startechone, Mentor-Box Foundation Train Kogites on Digital Skills


 

Driven by its commitment to bridging skill gaps and creating sustainable earning opportunities for young people in Kogi State, Mentor-Box Foundation recently collaborated with Startechone Academy for the Skillup Kogi, Free Digital Skills Training Programme.

 

The Chief Executive Officer of the Startechone Academy, Mr Alade Temitayo Sunday revealed that the free digital skills training were in line with the organization’s corporate social responsibility.

Mr. Temidayo noted that the Startechone Academy was set up with the vision to provide access to quality technology oriented skills for the people of Kogi State.

The Co-founder, Mentor-Box Foundation, Eunice Emmanuel-Agada noted that over a 5 day period, 70 persons were trained through the Skill-Up Kogi Digital Skills scholarship in courses including Data Analysis, Web Development and Digital Marketing.

Startechone Academy provides professional development and beginner programmes in UI/UX Design, Graphic Design, Digital Marketing, Front End Development, Data Analysis, and Mobile App Development is located at Suite 29, Zabham Plaza, opp Tourism Board, along NUJ road, Lokoja.
