The great people of Omala Local Government is proud to express its heartfelt appreciation to the Honourable Minister Prince Shuaibu Abubakar Audu and the Managing Director of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), Abba Abubakar, for their collaborative efforts in bringing a transformative 800 kilowatt minigrid solar energy project to our community. This initiative marks a significant milestone for the people of Omala, reflecting a commitment to sustainable development and the well being of our residents.

This groundbreaking project is unprecedented in our region, and we are immensely grateful for the positive impact it will have on our lives. By providing reliable solar energy, we are not only illuminating our homes and businesses but also fostering a safer environment. Access to electricity will help reduce the insecurity that has plagued our local government, empowering our community and enhancing our quality of life.

We would also like to extend our gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR for the appointment of a Son of the Soil as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Prince Audu leadership and vision for a brighter future resonate deeply with the aspirations of the people of Omala and Kogi State as a whole.
