A great philanthropist an humanitarian servant , Engr Zayyanu Yabo Tambari, from Yabo local government area, Sokoto State for his diligence and selfless service to humanity as he emerged award winner in Kogi State.
Tambari who emerged award winner from Rotary Lokoja metro 9125 was described a capacity and humanitarian of no equal who has shown compassion for the down- trodden in the society at large .
Mr Tambari said building a better society can bring positive result if one is determined to work and serve .
He urged the public to strive higher no matter challenges ,stressing that one can on succeed if he beliefs .
Conclusion he appreciated the Rotary club lokoja and Nigeria at large for the honour given and to be recognised in the award and promise to do more in the progress and unity of the nation .
The President of rotary 9125 noted that Engr Tambari was honoured with the award for his unprecedented positive contributions in the development and growth of the less-privileged in the society, especially, Kogi State.
The event which took place at Idrinana-hotel, Lokoja, Kogi State was attended by Rector Kogi Polytechnic, Dr Usman Ogbo, Engr Salisu Gegu, Chief Silas Egbita, Engr Jezhi Paul Yaro and Alh Abdullahi Idachaba.
Engr Tambari, a well traveled personage was caught by the eagle eye of rotary Lokoja metro 9125 award winner, is respected in the academic circle and has held several positions of responsibility.
Amongst the position held are; Secretary general Africa LPG, Assistant Sec Gen. Nigeria National Committee World Petroleum Council, Chairman PENGASSAN, DPR Lagos chapter and general patron Sokoto chess club, among others.
