SHALOM CHURCH OKENE MARKS ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY


 

The founder and General Overseer of Shalom City International Church of Christ, Idatochi Ogaminana, Apostle Joseph Bajeh had described one year existence of its Okene branch as eventful and a true call of evangelism for the propagation of gospel to the people of Ebiraland.

In the anniversary sermon at church location in LGEA (N.A Central) School, Okene on 3rd December, 2022. Apostle Joseph Bajeh reminded Christians and non-Christians to always pray to God and remember God for all His wonders for our living.
He admonished Christians to be exemplary and be above board in their public and private life worthy of emulation for stable society. In his sermon titled The Lord had pity from Joel 2:18. Apostle Joseph Bajeh bemoaned the decay in our society and called on Christians to be righteous and free themselves from all society ills.
The man of God reminded the church members to remember their roots in whatever they do and positions they found themselves to enable them impact positively on people’s life and society.
The Church Okene Centre one year anniversary which witnessed a lot of deliverance and testimonies, reminded Christians to seek solace from God in all their situations.
Apostle Joseph Bajeh told the church members to look for land where to build its permanent structure in Okene as he continued his evangelism to spread gospel to communities within and outside Kogi Central Senatorial district.
The church also prayed for those in positions of authority and pleaded with God to direct them well in their leadership for peace of our life and fatherland. He commended Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello of Kogi State for record achievements to better the lots of Kogites and transformation of the State in Security, Education, Health, Agriculture and Infrastructural development.
He stated that the one year anniversary will be climaxed on Sunday 4th December, 2022 in a church service at the same venue where words of God through the Holy Bible where the people will be adequately sensitized to be steadfast in Christianity for pious life. Apostle Bajeh thanked God and Jesus Christ for all he has done in the last one year and prayed to God to continue to direct the Church well to grow in bounds in its services to uplift mankind.
