Senator Iyiola Omisore this morning (Monday) stepped down as the National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), toeing the path of the former National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu who resigned on Sunday evening,
The APC Deputy National Secretary (Plateau State), Festus Fuanter immediately assume office as Acting National Secretary.
Meanwhile the Deputy National Chairman (North), Sen. Abubakar Kyari (Borno State) has also taken over as Acting Chairman to fill the vacuum created by Senator Adamu’s exit.
Omisore’s resignation happened just as the National Working Committee (NWC) of the APC prepared to commence its critical meeting scheduled for 12 noon on Monday.
