Sen. Ohere Says “More Goodies Await Ganaja, With Hon. Haruna Aligning With APC”


 

Says Gov. Bello’s administration does not discriminate.

 

The Senator Representing Kogi Central Senatorial District, Sen. Abubakar Ohere has assured that with the coming on board of Hon. Haruna Ganaja into the APC, Ganaja will begin to witness more goodies in terms of dividends of democracy and infrastructure

Sen. Ohere made the disclosure while speaking at the official decamping of Hon. Haruna Ganaja into the APC held at Ganaja village, described the Gov. Yahaya Bello’s administration as one that does not discriminate.

The Senator explained that during his electioneering campaign when he visited Ganaja, assured that the issues of Ajaokuta Steel Company will be given serious attention if elected, said by the Grace of God, his first motion moved on the floor of the Senate had reference with Ajaokuta Steel Company.

The Senator added that his motion and other efforts also culminated into the visit of Vice President Kashim Shettima to the Russian Government, expressed optimism that the ongoing Government to Government agreement will yield the desired result.

Sen. Ohere added that it was his concerted effort, that of the State Government that led to the creation of a Ministry of Steel Development, with Ajaokuta Steel Company as major focus, with an indigene of the State, Prince Shaibu Abubakar Audu, appointed to head the Ministry.

Sen. Ohere said the efforts to revamp the Ajaokuta Steel Company underscores the fact that he and the State Government are working towards making the Ajaokuta Steel Company a dream come true, assured that very soon Ajaokuta will be a going concern.

The Senator Representing Kogi Central said with the coming of Hon. Haruna Ganaja to align with the APC, assured of more dividends of democracy and patronage that will be coming to Ganaja.

On the issue of road challenge affecting Ganaja. Sen. Ohere said owing to the commitment of Gov. Yahaya Bello and the push from the Senate, the Minister of Works has upon assumption of office visited the Ganaja road.

Sen. Ohere specifically said that following the visit, a special design has been package for Ganaja road, added that it will permanently solve the incessant cases of road structure and sectional failure.

Sen. Ohere used the opportunity to welcome Hon. Haruna into the APC, assuring that his coming will attract more development in the area of infrastructure and dividends to the people.
