Sen. Natasha’s Second Term Sacrosanct – Kogi PDP Mulls Automatic Ticket Over Stellar Performance
Okene, Kogi State – The Kogi State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, says it is considering an automatic ticket for Sen. Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan’s second term, citing her “stellar performance” in the Senate.
The State Chairman of the PDP, Hon. Muhammed Sanni Gambo, made the disclosure on Tuesday at the official flag-off ceremony of Hon. Yahaya Karaku for the House of Representatives seat for Okene/Ogori-Magongo Federal Constituency.
Describing Sen. Natasha as “best among her equal in the Senate,” Gambo said she has surpassed past representatives from Kogi Central since the return to democracy in 1999. “Her re-election is sacrosanct,” the Chairman declared.
He called on the people of Kogi Central to “stand solidly in support for Sen. Natasha and the PDP,” adding that the party has been repositioned to deliver democracy dividends “like in times past.”
Gambo expressed appreciation to the Senator for her positive impact across the district. He expressed optimism that “she will before noon on election day trounce and defeat her opponent with a wide margin.”
The PDP Chairman described Sen. Natasha as “a material that cannot be toyed with” and praised her for “having the love of her people at heart.” He called her “a gift to the people of Central Senatorial District” and “one that is a million,” urging constituents to remain resolute in their support for her and the PDP.
“Her second term is sacrosanct,” Gambo reiterated, noting that the party’s decision to mull an automatic ticket is based on verifiable performance and grassroots acceptance.
The event drew party stakeholders and supporters from across Kogi Central.
